DD Charity Update - September 2023

September is here and Autumn is starting to change the leaves once more - and we reckon there's no better time for everyone and everyone to enjoy this magical turn of nature! This month we catch up with Kindlewoods CIC; a woodland social enterprise based in North Yorkshire. From mental health to coppicing, Kindlewoods is a hardworking team who use creative, evidence based approaches to tackle the root causes of our major social and environmental challenges. DD Charity Update - March 2023

Spring has officially sprung, and this month we're collaborating with veteran led organisation; The Leg Up Project! The Leg Up Project is a Leicestershire non profit CIC that works to offer adventure therapy, courses and various methods of support to folks of all ages from a variety of diverse backgrounds - including those with mental health difficulties, homelessness, and more. Read on to find out more about how the Leg Up Project works, and how they have gotten on with their new DD kit!

It's February, the month of love and appreciation! And what better way to spread the love than working in tandem with two great local charities to bring the joy of the outdoors to those in need? This month we firstly meet Barry Curley of The Ulverston Canoe Club, who's volunteers work to create oppertunities for young people and those from less dvantageous backgrounds to take part in getting outdoors. Secondly we catch up with Good News Brighton, an organisation that works within Moulsecoomb to get folks from deprived areas into wild camping areas to help heal their mental health and wellbeing.
